I doubt we are even aware of the most egregious of these type of events.

Human radiation experiments conducted by the CIA in the 50's IMO is about as bad as you can get.
Abu Ghraib is right up there too.. Funny how that has been so quickly forgotten..
The people, especially those on the Right, who now bitch and moan that our country and civil rights are lost need to remember it was lost a long time ago, and the Republicans/Right was a BIG reason we've gone down that road.

I hate to say this but globally we've gone from being the world's policeman, to the world's bully.. And now that bully mentality has come home too.
