Why doesn't anybody mention General Motors? General Motors did more for the war effort than any other General.

I read somewhere that when the Afrika Korps surrendered/retreated in 1943 80% of their motorized vehicles were captured American And British equipment. Because of Enigma and the War on the Eastern front Rommel was getting almost no supplies.
I always thought it would have been very cool if Rommel and Yamamoto survived the war and wrote about their thoughts and the war.

rommel was planning on writing a second book after the war called "war without hate". it would have been interesting to read his perspective on war, especially given his position in the third reich.
