Don't the tea party have about 40 seats in congress still, or did something change with that.
They don't have a real ideologically unifying feature over the taxes/obama/socialism/kenya bad, so there probably a flash in the pan.
They do appear to be a reasonably popular flash in the pan though. That could morpth into something a little more coherent given time.

I don't want to put words in anyone's mouths here, but seeing as how this whole topic is based on the premise of the "demographics shift" bringing on an ascendency of liberalism, I think most of you are making incredibly ignorant, sweeping generalizations about latinos as a homogenous voting block, which they aren't now and most definitely won't be in the coming decades.
