It was a pretty shocking act, I can understand that people were stunned, but a reporter interviewed the guy.
WTH? Did she think Londoners wanted to get the terrorist perspective or something?

Terrorism? Crime? It's just hatred, pure and simple, and needs justice. Labeling it either of the other two just gives the killers power, especially if you label it terrorism.
Also, when there is a large group of people near an incident, most people believe someone else will take care of it. It's human nature, although it's not a good thing. I think it's worth trying to train one's self not to rely on that. Once one person reacts, I think it sort of breaks down the cycle.
Additionally, I keep reading there was a revolver present. I find that interesting in a society that has outlawed firearms. Apparently, bad guys can still get guns. Hmmm.

If you read the twits from people who were there you will learn that the guy tried to fire the revolver and it was so old that it blew his fingers off!
