the genovese case was inaccurately portrayed by the media. the witnesses only saw parts of it, and did not realize the seriousness of it. two people were aware she was stabbed, but the newspaper said 38 people were. the rest thought they were having a drunken lover's quarrel or something. but it was portrayed in the media how the above pictures and video showed what transpired in london: extreme apathy
