Mitt didn't bring up the IRS scandal before the election because he, and his advisers KNEW that under Bush the IRS did the same thing, they were targeting anti-war groups, etc.. So bringing it up might have aired more GOP dirty laundry then Dem dirty laundry.

Well and of course Mitt probably didn't want any more attention focused on the words "IRS" and "taxes" and "Romney."

On a side note, it was on the Daily Show last night but in the times, did anybody catch the sickening ass-kissing fest that occurred when the tax-dodging Apple CEO appeared in front of congress? They absolutely fawned over him (not seen since Jamie Dimon)--when it's widely acknowledged that Apple managed to dodge allegedly $40 billion in taxes?

They were even asking him at one point how he would set up the tax code?

Not that we don't need an overhaul in the tax code, but Jesus: the fetishizing of big corporations by our gov't is becoming alarming at this point.

Im happy that Apple as well as other corporations have been able to pay less taxes, every American should follow their example. Taxes are evil.
