yeah, they didn't "fall back" they were encircled and crushed. france lost some of it's best armored divisions in the beginning of the war and what divisions they did have left were under armored, undermanned, and undersupplied. some of their armored divisions were lucky to even have armor.
they didn't have enough B1s or D2s to deal with the germans. simple fact. what they did have were poorly organized or undersupplied and were slow as shit.
i don't know why you're trying to discount blitzkrieg.
